WILHEIMINA LONG
Wilheimina is an entrepreneur, graphic designer, children’s book author, and a fine artist who enjoys painting portraits. She received her B.A. degree from the University of Mary Washington. Wilheimina has always been an advocate for children and founded in 1999 the non-profit Youth Matter Inc/YMCDC. Creating the Ray the Buffalo & Friends children’s book series, and the JCB Biography Books series for children are a special passion, as her desire is to motivate, educate and encourage children to be their best and to always strive to excel. She personally produced the layout and design of all books in the two series. She continues to work toward her entrepreneur goals with her creative services agency BRITLON. www.britlon.com

WELLINGTON J. WILLIAMS, JR.
Wellington is the Co-Founder of SPOORT Inc., a consultant and business services firm. He is a dedicated consultant for YMCDC, focusing on community development, leading initiatives like the TROOPS TO YOUTH®, and the development of ACHYEVE, a mentoring app tracking mentorship progress and successes. Wellington has served as a highly experienced Program Manager with a distinguished career supporting the US Navy. He has a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University. He had an outstanding military career where he retired at the rank of Commander, US Navy. In his free time, you will find him mentoring youth and young adults and enjoying the beach with his fur buddy Angel the Pug.

MAKHI A. SIMMONS
Makhi lives in Maryland and is 13 years old. He is a good student, and excels in school enjoying STEM, Legos and remote-controlled cars. His favorite food is ice cream. When he grows up, he wants to be a soldier like his dad who holds Sergeant First Class rank in the US Army stationed at Fort Campbell, Tennessee. Makhi is also the great-nephew of Author, Wilheimina Long. Makhi co-authored the book Jazper the Cat ABC book with his aunt.
